Please choose one of the Cover Design
The Cover sells the book! It’s believe that the order of importance to sell a book is first the cover, then the title, then the blurb on the back cover. Click on the Covers to enlarge them. View below for smaller sizes as seen on Amazon pages.
The goals with the cover of I, Tarzan:
1) It needs to grab the attention and stand out from the crowd of all other books
2) It needs to be visually stunning and enticing for people to want to buy it (pleasing, not only striking)
3) The title is intriguing, so it needs to really stand out and jump to the eyes
4) It needs to scream “memoir” because of the main title. We don’t anybody to think of it as Fiction.
5) It needs to tell the story, but without revealing it entirely. It needs to foster interest and curiosity

The book features my life from 2 to 26 years old. We don’t want people to think it’s a jungle adventure story. It’s the dream of being like Tarzan and Cousteau as a small child, then an explorer-adventurer as a teenage boy. It covers childhood, Mountain Commando and mountain climbing, then life in the US.

Dancing with Death - Cover Choice
Revised Edition - New Selected Cover
These were all the candidates:
It needs to look a little different, but similar to the original one. It needs to stand out, and be aesthetic. You can click on the cover to enlarge it. But people will first see them as small icons in the middle of many other books on Amazon. You can view the original cover at the bottom of this page (first already published edition). Note that the hair in Cover, A, B and C will be fixed for the final output)
Cover A
Cover C
Cover B
Cover D with Format 4 (no awards, larger “Revised Edition” text)
Just let the titles show the difference (keep original colors). Author became white. Subtitle is longer. I’ll remove the quote from the older edition).
Please choose one format for the quote (and award)
I’m hesitating to show the award on the front cover. Maybe it kills the aesthetic of the cover design. Awards will also appear on the back cover (I have 5 awards). The text Revised Edition must appear (with or without the additional text “with map and new ending”). Please choose the position of the quote. And help me choose the quote in the section below. You can click on the covers to enlarge them.
Format 1
(with Cover A)
No Seal. Editorial quote centered alined under “Revised Edition” in the middle of the dark side of the wave.
Format 2
(with Cover B)
Editorial quote centered & Seal on the right
(The word memoir will be removed from the subtitle)
Format 3
(with Cover A)
Seal centered, editorial quote flushed left and lined up with “Revised Edition”
Please choose one the best quote
Please help choose your favorite three quotes for the front cover. Shorter is better (because of the amount of space it takes on the cover. Please choose three and give me your order of preference. The other two will go on the back cover.
